NASA websites hacked 13 times last year
Sunday, April 1st, 2012The computer systems of NASA was being hacked for about 13 times during last year in which many data was lost. During the hacking NASA lost many of the employee credentials and 9other mission related projects secrets. The mission critical projects which where in breaches and that would be used to compromise the US national security. On cyber security alone NASA spends about$ 1.5 billion as per as the annual budget and about $58 million totally.
Earlier the past week NASA spent details was being told by the Congressional Panel in detail. There were some NASA systems which were being lost and some stolen which would indirectly leave to financial loss. The financial loss would adversely affect the national security and hamper the technological advantage. The details was being reported through a testimony in the US House Committee on Science,Space and Technology.
The report which was being stated on Wednesday NASA discovered the hacking during November after it saw a Chinese IP address. The IP address was based from china and which had broken some secrets from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The IP address had got the full system access and had modified and had even deleted some files and mission accounts. The JPL systems wrtr having some of the hacking too.ls and had used further to store the credentials of the user.
