Amazon.com is an electronic commerce (e-commerce) company of the type Public based in America. It has its headquarters at Seattle, Washington. Amazon was one of the first companies that started to sell goods by Internet. Jeff Bezos founded Amazon.com in 1994, and the company was launched online in the year 1995.Other key people are Tom Szkutak, senior VP/CFO and Werner Vogels, VP/CTO.It has around 17000 emplyees. Amazon.com started as an on-line bookstore, but it soon started to sell DVDs, Music CDs and computer softwares.
