Adaptec is a company that focuses on Computer hardware. Founded in the year 1981, Adaptec is headquartered at Milpitas, California and Mr. S. “Sundi” Sundaresh is the present Chief Executive officer. The company is producing host adapters for connecting storage devices to computers. Some hardware such as USB hubs is also produced. The company also sells network-attached storage devices, including the Snap Server. It is a growing company employing around 1560 employees as of the year 2007.
